**From now until the Royals eventual World Series Championship comes to fruition I'll be posting Random Royals from my collection.**
If you are a Royals collector or if you've ever traded with someone else in which they sent you Royals cards then you undoubtedly own at least a dozen copies of Tom Gordon's Rated Rookie card from 1989 Donruss. It makes sense as this was one of the key rookies from the '89 set and so it would often survive a collector's purge of the countless garbage cards from this era.
More than 20 years after the card was made "Flash" Gordon was still pitching in the majors. He had pitched in 890 games, been a 3x All-Star and won a World Series ring with the Phillies in 2008.
