**The card purchases inspired by watching Ken Burn's 18.5 hour Baseball documentary over the course of a week in June 2011**
Luis Tiant gets a lot of screen time during the segment highlighting the Red Sox/Yankee rivalry during the 70's and I think he doesn't get the praise that I think he deserves. It inspired me to pick up some more Tiant cards including these three, yes three, different cards from the 1979 Topps design.
1. We begin with the basic U.S. version, card #575 which is one of the iconic cards in the set.

2. Next we have the O-Pee-Chee version, card #299. It also announces that Tiant signed with the Yankees during the '78 season.

3. So if the first two were the regular and O-Pee-Chee versions and this one is not a traded version, what version could this one be?
