Greg Minton holds the live-ball era record of pitching 269 1/3 innings straight without giving up a home run. Minton was a middle-reliever and closer for the Giants so during that streak nearly three entire seasons passed. Greg was also the pitcher that gave up Pete Rose's last hit in 1986.
