Today's Genius Cover comes from February 1985 and is issue #10 of the Secret Wars mini-series which is probably best remembered as giving us Spider-man's symbiote costume that would eventually become Venom. In the series some sort of cosmic being, The Beyonder, brought a lot of Marvel super heroes to fight each other at his amusement...in this issue Dr. Doom defeats him and absorbs his powers and in the course of the battle he, shall we say, akes a little damage.
