I Thought I'd Seen Everything

I thought I'd seen everything when it came to relic cards. I've seen:

Jersey

Pants

Patches

Letters

Bats

Bases

Stadium Seating

Dress Shirts

Plus, let's not forget: Hair, Glove, Bone, Insect Exoskeleton, Stamp, Button, Coins, etc...

But I'd never seen a relic card quite like this until I found it at the Topeka card show this weekend. This is a piece of the Outfield Wall of Three Rivers Stadium that housed the Pirates from 1970 to 2000. Not quite a piece of the Berlin Wall but neat nonetheless.

I'm a little disappointed that I haven't seen any Shea Stadium outfield wall relic cards.

Was looking through the dollar bin at my lcs this past week and found a football relic card with a swatch from a Goal Post Cover. Awesome.
Nice. I have a wall card somewhere, from some team. I have one of those Topps Pieces of the Berlin Wall cards too...although it's more like "crumbs". Still cool. I love that patch card.

Why is it from Pitt though? I'd rather see the statdium pieces go with a player who played 80+ games a year there.

I had an Aikman football card with a piece of Cleveland Stadium seats - it still doesn't make sense to me.

I'd rather the 3 Rivers stadium wall go to an Andy Van Slyke or Bonds/Bonilla card.
