My Prized Hologram

This one is from the 1991 Upper Deck set and for a long while this was probably my most prized non-baseball card. It was back when inserts were not numbered and they were few and far between. And pulling a hologram card like this was just short of miracle.

Holograms are one of the best card inventions, right up there with dufex. I have a few original generation ones, Dennis Rodman from when he was still sane, and a Lobo from a an early-'90s DC Comics set are the most notable. The only bad thing about these early ones is the ridiculous flimsiness. Still awesome though, and always a treat to pull, even when you get a forgotten Denver Bronco running back in back-to-back packs.
