As I think I have stated previously, the first time that I thought "I could do that" in regards to baseball card blogging was when A Pack A Day solicited for writers about a year ago. I applied and got rejected...well to be honest I never heard anything. When life hands you lemons, you've got to make lemonade right? I started Heartbreaking Cards of Staggering Genius and have done close to 600 posts since September of last year. I am hoping to get to a Mario-like 1000 posts by my one year anniversary.
That being said, I always go back to my interest in writing for a blog devoted solely to opening packs of cards but I want to try something different. So tonight, may I proudly introduce a new project called called A Pack To Be Named Later.
It is my ambitious plan that this blog will attempt to document the opening of at least one pack from every card product ever created. Ambitious? Yes. Impossible? Maybe. Going to be awesome? Without a doubt!
So that being said, if you are interested in writing for this new endeavor please send me an email at heartbreakingcards@gmail.com. Preference will be shown to people who have never written for a baseball card blog before and want to try something new...but veteran bloggers are certainly invited as well. The more the merrier!
Cheers,
Matt F.
