A little bit ago Dayf sent along some great 1971 Topps cards to add to the Continuing Saga...Here are some of my favorites...
Wearing your hat under your batting helmet went out of style somewhere between 1971 and today...the exact point has baffled scientists for years.
Without a doubt Dave Baldwin has the best hair in the 1971 set.
It's nice to find a catcher card that doesn't highlight the mitt but instead focuses on the chest guard.
"I'm gonna get you sucka."
Willie is the youngest of twenty one children born to his parents meaning that Willie's mother spend nearly 16 years being pregnant.
Besides Les Cain's All-Star Rookie award, the coolest thing about this card are Cain's Black Panther-esque batting gloves.
