Four packs of American Heritage and, of course, some really great cards...I will break these down by sections just like at Cardboard Junkie's review...
#1-10 Writers
#5 Nathaniel Hawthorne
Every high school students worst nightmare...The Scarlet Letter.
#6 Emily Dickinson
#11-20 Explorers
#13 Robert Perry
#14 Daniel Boone
#20 Christopher Columbus
As a Norwegian, I am silently waiting for my Leaf Erickson card.
#21-30 Military
#21 John Paul Jones
#22 Davy Crockett
#24 Douglas MacArthur
#30 George Meade
#31-40 Revolutionary War
#31 Ben Franklin
#33 Paul Revere
#35 John Hancock
#36 Samuel Adams
#41-50 Inventors
#43 George Washington Carver
#44 Alexander Graham Bell
#47 Eli Whitney
#51-60 Civil Rights Leaders
#56 Susan B. Anthony
#60 Elizabeth Jenkins
#61-70 Painters
#70 Frederic Edwin Church
For Mark from Stats on the Back here's the reverse of Church's card.
#71-80 Statesmen
My favorite cards of the set are the Statemen cards with the 1974 design. This Robert Kennedy card is almost worth the price of admission of all these packs.
#73 Robert F. Kennedy
#79 William Jennings Bryan
#81-90 Entertainers
The Entertainer category is the one category I'm not 100% sure about. Maybe after I see all ten cards I will feel different.
#88 Tony Pastor
#91-100 Industrialists
None
#101-125 Events
#105 Treaty of Paris
#106 Washington's Farewell Address
#107 Louisiana Purchase
#109 Lincoln-Douglas Debates
#111 Treaty at Appomattox Court House
#118 V-E Day
#126-150 2008 Short Prints
None
#AP1-AP44 Presidents
AP44 Barack Obama
#C1-C100 Chrome
Overall this is the best card. I commented on dayf's post that a Chrome Emily Dickinson was just about the greatest idea since Aqua Globes. But now I've seen a Chrome Thurgood Marshall and well, the Aqua Globes look like a piece of crap now.
#C78 Thurgood Marshall

My wife is a history teacher so I went ahead and bought her the base set on ebay! That Obama card is pretty sweet. Not convinced that chrome on vintage designs is a good idea.
