With this post we've reached the milestone century mark in my Show and Tell series and for this edition we focus on one of my favorite group breaks of the past few months. I'm speaking of Tribecards Buck-A-Box group break which gave me a lot of my Royals prospects from 2011 Bowman.
Wil Myers is considered the 10th best prospect overall in
2011 Baseball America Top 100 prospect list but he is only rated the third best prospects in the Royals organization behind Eric Hosmer and Mike Moustakas.
|
2011 Bowman #TP39 Will Myers |
John Lamb ranks
18th on the list and is the third ranked left handed pitcher.
|
2011 Bowman #TP43 John Lamb |
Moustakas made his Royals debut on June 10th at 3rd base and is currently batting .274 over 20 games.

2011 Topps #BBR2 Mike Moustakas |
Along with the boxes of Bowman and Allen & Ginter there was a box of Sportflics, one of my all-time favorite products. I got a bunch of Twins and Royals including a three-way card of Mike Schmidt [YES!], Kirby Puckett [YES! YES!] and Juan Nieves [WAIT, WHAT?]. Two out of three isn't too bad.

1988 Sporflics #150 George Brett |
I'm going to do a post later highlighting the signature opportunities that are coming up at the National Show and the end of the month and one of them that caught my eye was Juan Nieves. As a Brewers fan I watched Juan come, be great, and go in the course of three seasons.
You can get hime to sign for $15.
