Believe it or not there are only about 20 players to have a 1.000 batting average over the course of their career. Nearly all of those players have one at-bat and one hit [often a pinch hit opportunity]...some where lucky enough to go two for two in their brief career. John Paciorek had five at-bats in his one game in the majors [which was the last game of the 1963 season] smacking three hits and drawing two walks. He ended his career with a perfect 1.000 and is the only player to do that while having three hits.
